Trivia Night!

forwarded from Nora Blake, MASSCAT

The Massachusetts Library Association is gearing up for a fantastic Annual Conference this year! One of the new things we are going to try is a Trivia Night Fundraiser. This fundraiser will be held after dinner on Thursday night, May 3 in the ballroom. Only those holding pre-paid tickets will be allowed to play. We encourage interested players to register early and form a team of up to 10 players. I've heard a rumor that the Weymouth Public Library might be forming a team and the folks at the Southeastern Mass. Regional Library System might be entering a team as well! Form a team of your colleagues or friends and come prepared to take on other teams from around the state! You can also join in the fun as an individual player.

You can register for the Trivia Night event by downloading the conference brochure from the MLA Website and filling out p.18:

We will also be holding a silent auction around the perimeter of the room during the Trivia game. You don't need a ticket to bid on an array of wonderful items!

What will make the silent auction that much more wonderful is if you (and your coworkers or friends) would consider donating a basket or similar fancy container of items such as coffee, wine, and/or beer that is brewed in your area, tickets to a museum or two, tickets to an
orchestra or playhouse, gift certificates to restaurants, books, stays at bed and breakfasts or
hotels, or other exciting items.

Please feel free to contact me for more information on donating to the MLA silent auction.

Go ahead and register for the conference, Trivia Night, and other exciting events at the MLA Annual Conference today!

Thank you,

NORA
